Party Time!

It was the twin's birthday party on the weekend and we had so much fun. Mom and Dad got to socialize with friends and I got to jump on a trampoline, play in their little house, and most of all, SWING!

It was too windy to blow out the candles, although I said the whole way there that I was going to blow out Jacob's candles. I was so mad that I couldn't blow out the candle, that I wouldn't even eat my cake (until mommy tried to eat it, then I ate it all up!) I eventually got to show off my candle blowing skills, but it wasn't on a cake so it wasn't the same.

Mommy forgot the pictures, so hopefully I'll have some party pictures for you later this week...

I've decided that since I don't have to take as many things to daycare that I should use my Elmo backpack now. I love wearing it around, and even wore it to the library last night.

It was kind of funny to have an Elmo on my back and an Elmo in my hands!

And mommy had a fun time trying to me to turn "sideways" to pose with my Elmo on my back. Oh well, She seemed to get enough pictures eventually!

Fire Biker

Mama got a new camera for mother's day so she keeps pointing it in my face whenever she can.

Last week I was being silly trying to put on a firemans hat after our bike ride. I thought it was fun, she thought it was silly.

What do You think?

I think I'm pretty talented since I can put on and buckle my helmet all on my own!

Hot hot hot

So this was a very interesting weekend. My nana, auntie and cousin came to visit, but took turns being sick so we didn't get to do too much. We went to the store and the park, but that's about it. It was still a fun weekend though.

Sunday was super hot so mom and I washed her car and I got soaked, so got to have an early bath. Afterwards mom couldn't find any two piece jammies, so she let me wear something called a "nightie". I was

feeling very big girl-ish in it!

Meanwhile, Daddy hooked up my "violin" (Violet) bear to the computer for some reason. I felt the need to investigate.

Later on, Violet knew my name, and sang some of my favourite songs. Daddy must have taught her a thing or two!

Sleep Less nights

I'm trying to keep mommy and daddy on their toes.

Every night this week I've woken up for some reason or another. And all but last night it worked.

One night I convinced them I didn't need my froggy light for sleeping. So at 5am when I woke up and it was DARK, I screamed my bloody head off until daddy came in to console me.

One night I woke at 3:30 because I was soaking wet (I pee A LOT at night) and my 'jammas and sheets needed changing. I also convinced them that my mouth hurt. I AM getting my eye teeth still you know.

Last night I cried out for mommy at 4:44am. They IGNORED me! Can you believe it? I still can't. I finally gave in after about 6 times of calling for her, and went back to sleep. I woke back up at 5:55 and went to my door to pleasantly call for mommy and she came and got me. We cuddled in her bed until her music came on and then it was go time!

Mommy is hoping to find a way to make me sleep through the night again, but I keep telling her it's hopeless.

I need them to know that I am here.

We went to a birthday party the other day for a friend.

I loved playing with all of his toys.

And being silly with mommy,

and meeting new friends.

But especially,

Playing with the birthday boys NEW toys when he wasn't looking!
